This program provides free bushfire case management for youth (19-25), adults (26-64) and older adults (65+) and free financial counselling for small business in all regions (Alpine, Towong, Wodonga, Indigo, Mansfield and Wangaratta).

This state funded program has funding to June 2022. It is available to people 14 years+ impacted by the 2019-20 Bushfires and are living in Towong, Alpine, Wodonga, Indigo, Mansfield and Wangaratta.
This state funded service (until Sept 2021) provides psychosocial support to community members residing in bushfire affected regions (Alpine, Towong, Wodonga, Indigo, Mansfield and Wangaratta).
Rural Aid’s dedicated counselling intake line is staffed by our trained counsellors Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm on 1300 175 594. Farmers, farming family members and farm workers can all contact this number to gain information about counselling, gain support and complete our intake process to be linked in with a counsellor. All services are free and the person does not have to be a primary producer; hobby farmers and their family can also access the intake line. Farmers are supported with practical strategies to help them refocus and get back on track.
The Salvation Army responds to natural and man-made disasters including bushfires, floods, storm damage, earthquakes, cyclones or prolonged drought.
