Gateway Health provides a range of alcohol & other drugs (AOD) treatment services to both young people and adults. The primary service delivery sites include Wangaratta and Wodonga, with outreach services available to areas in Alpine Mansfield and Indigo Shires for community members 18 years +.
This state funded program (until March 2021) is a child centred, family focused early intervention service offered through Gateway Health in Wangaratta, Wodonga, Alpine and Mansfield.
This program offers a range of different service supports based on need and as listed in the services provided section. These services are available in all regions (Alpine, Towong, Wodonga, Indigo, Mansfield and Wangaratta) to community members of all ages.
This state funded program provides parents with online support modules, information and phone consultations with a trained Parent Educator over a 6-10 week period.
This local program is available in Alpine, Mansfield & Wangaratta to For families “at risk” of entering the Child Protection system due to concerns relating to issues such as family relationships, adolescent behaviours and parenting difficulties.
This state funded (until June 2022) program is available in Alpine to young people who require counselling and specialist services for positive mental health and wellbeing in the Alpine Shire.
This early intervention and prevention program is available in Alpine, Mansfield & Wangaratta to young people aged 12-18 years old, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and their families.
This local program aims to provide people of all ages with proactive support to reduce the cycle of homelessness. Personal barriers that have impacted on the individual are also assessed and worked on together for long term independent sustainability.
This local program enables young people to address their needs and develop independent living skills in a supported and coordinated manner. This occurs whilst supporting the young person to source safe affordable accommodation.
Triple P provides in-person and online Positive Parenting programs to carers of children from babies, 0-12 years, teens and a family anxiety program. These services are provided in the Alpine, Towong, Wangaratta and Mansfield regions for free as part of the Victorian Department of Health Bushfire Recovery Funding.
This state funded program gives vulnerable Aboriginal children and families support at home to improve their quality of life. Available in all regions to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members of all ages.
