Gateway Health – Positive Parenting Telephone Service (PPTS)

This state funded program provides parents with online support modules, information and phone consultations with a trained Parent Educator over a 6-10 week period.

Appointments are available during the day Mon-Fri and evenings Wed & Thurs. Topics include building positive relationship with children, setting rules and limits, help to manage everyday behaviour problems and how to teach new skills.

Anticipated Wait Times: 2-3 weeks
Costs: Free Service
Targeted Cohorts Included: Family focused service, carers & guardians (specifically fathers & grandparents caring for their grandchildren)
