Gateway Health – Child Health Intervention and Parent Support (CHIPS)
This state funded program (until March 2021) is a child centred, family focused early intervention service offered through Gateway Health in Wangaratta, Wodonga, Alpine and Mansfield.
Anticipated Wait Times: 1-5 days max.

General Community Services
Parent education and support for families impacted by Bushfires
General mental health counselling services
Bushfire specific mental health counselling services
Eligibility
Children 0 – 12 years who show signs of impact from Bushfires (requiring support with social, emotional or behavioural challenges)
Parents, carer’s, guardians wanting support/education around parenting a child who is impacted by Bushfires
Children must have a parent or significant other willing to be involved and provide consent
